Hi there! I’m Sam Hinds, a music producer with a deep-rooted love for country and folk rock. My journey in music began when I was just 11 years old, learning guitar for the first time in my hometown. From those early lessons, I quickly realised that music wasn’t just something I enjoyed—it was something that would shape my life.
For years, I balanced my passion for music with other pursuits, including earning a degree and working as an architect (still not sure why, honestly!). But despite my career in architecture, there was always a part of me that longed to dive deeper into music. At 17, I started experimenting with home recording, using a minimal setup to lay down ideas and tracks. But as life progressed, it became clear to me that the only thing I’d ever truly loved was music. So, I made a bold decision to change course and give myself fully to what inspired me the most.
I began writing and releasing my own original songs, but the real shift came when I started collaborating with a small team of fellow musicians. Together, we worked with bigger studios to create music for TV and film, and this experience was a game-changer. I dove into the world of music production, engineering, and mixing, learning the technical aspects of genre, tonality, and creating music that resonates. Our collaborations resulted in a massive library of music that found placements across media outlets worldwide, and the success was incredibly rewarding.
Taking the leap into music full-time was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I sold my house, built my own studio from the ground up, and never looked back. Since then, I’ve been fortunate enough to work with artists and collaborators from all over the world, writing songs, producing albums, and mixing tracks in my high-end professional production suite.
Alongside producing for other artists, I continue to write my own music and regularly perform live. Music is my passion, and every day feels like a new adventure in this creative space. While country music is my true love, I’m always on the lookout for new, exciting projects and artists to collaborate with. Whether it’s playing guitar, bass, keys, percussion, or harmonica, I love bringing a diverse sound to every project I touch.
In my downtime, I’m a DIY enthusiast who just finished renovating a house. I’m also an absolute coffee fiend, so you can often find me sipping a cup while crafting my next big idea.
If you’re looking for a producer who’s as passionate about your music as you are, I’d love to connect. Let’s create something amazing together!
